It will definitely be a beatdown unless the US bunkers up Bob Bradley style.

I would like to state that it will be even uglier than I imagined if Rogers and Orozco-Fiscal get on the field against France. Maybe someone hacked the US Soccer twitter feed and included those 2 as a joke.

Not sure about that. They were hardly impressive during the ECQ. If Klinsmann plays his strongest team I think it will be tighter than you’d think. What interests me is how this US team handles playing in the Stade de France, and how well they can retain possession.

It’s true that France haven’t been impressive but to me the US has been even less impressive. The US has struggled against every team they’ve played under Klinsmann and they haven’t all been French caliber.

The only thing weve stuggled with honestly is scoring. You might be having HES(high-expectation syndrome). I don’t blame you though :>

I thought with the exception of Belgium that there were defensive lapses that would be punished against better opposition.

That looks like France’s top squad. Anyone left off that I’m forgetting?

    Forgot about Evra.

There’s a statement on by JK on the current role of Agudelo and Bunbury in the national team. Neither were called in at the moment due to the playoffs but USSF and MLS made an agreement to release players, especially ones that may be involved in the final.

Even if New York makes it there, I highly doubt Agudelo is involved unless you consider sitting on the bench for 90 minutes an involvement.

Clubs are going to regret not signing Sakho prior to the PSG takeover. I am sure any potential offer will be match by the new owners. And the other France player to watch is M’Vila. Exactly the sort of player that the US (and England for that matter) is crying out for.

Cabaye has also caught the eye at Newcastle United this season. Pardew has got a tidy little player there.

Looking at the French website — French for goalkeepers — “gardiens”. Much cooler, imo.

I hope Benzema and Ribery play substantial minutes. The US defense needs more work against top flight attackers.
