    Not about either Manchester club (but look up a pic of Balotelli on the bench from today, hilarious) but I just watched highlights from Lyon v Zagreb. Not saying anything fishy was going on, but those were some pretty easy goals that Lyon was able to score.

      Yeah, I agree – they had to win and by X margin and they end up scoring 7 away from home?

      Does anybody know how the UEFA co-efficient works for CL places? I am guessing it’s some sort of moving average, rather than a one season thing. I will always “support” an English team over a European team, but I must admit, I did smirk when I saw the Manchester teams getting knocked out, especially United because they do have the experience to juggle different competitions…

      Hopefully, City and United will play their 2nd string in the UEFA Cup – keep their England players a little fresher for the summer [every cloud and all that!!].

    When was the last time Serie A had more teams in the last 16 than PL, Bundesliga and La Liga? One season wonder?
