And this video got us thinking….

The remarkable thing is he scored this entirely on ups – he doesn’t really demonstrate any remarkable heading technique here

That’s an awesome leap, but Wynne still gets that award.

This was proven when Toronto played Real Madrid a few years back. Ronaldo schooled Wynne and got a ten yard start on him. Wynne closed him down like a rhino on PCP. No one in the league can touch this kid for athletic ability.

Correct. I’ve heard people suggest Wynne could’ve been an Olympic track and field athlete had he chosen that path.

Marvell’s also a perfect demonstration of why the most naive interpretation of “US needs better athletes” can be immediately dismissed out of hand. We’ve got plenty of freaky athletes running around–the trick is to get them running in the right direction.

It looks like Cameron to stoke is pretty much a go. Is anyone excited for this?

Also, Dempsey to Liverpool? I think I read Liverpool had the third best defense. If so, are they a better fringe team than they seem? Could Dempsey and Borini catapult them up the ranks?

Without the EPL or Euros, I’ve resorted to watching some surprisingly entertaining mls games and reading transfer rumors…Any other USMNT transfer rumors out there?
